About Us

CabanaCan Ltd., established in 1985, is a Canadian company that has focused on designing the best upscale free-standing portable toilets to buy for specific applications. The company was started by Wayne Bourke from Onoway, Alberta, who has been the sole designer of these portable toilet or washroom units over the last 25 years.  Below are a few different models and prototypes suited for various purposes and venues.

Although the Alberta-based company has remained family owned, we have established some great partnerships along the way and that has allowed us to now bring you the latest edition. This Silver Anniversary Gazebo style model, developed in conjunction with one of the world's leading company's in rotomolded plastics, is the most esthetically appealing and environmentally friendly, self contained unit of the series and is designed for end-user applications.

The RV technology was introduced in 2000 in a two-washroom 8’ x 8’ trailer unit designed for winter use where power is accessible (i.e. construction sites) and is currently available as a rental unit.

A previous summer unit prototype, designed in 2006, was specifically for golf courses and was received very positively at the 2007 International Golf Show in Anaheim, California. From that time CabanaCan has done some further market research and developed a more versatile product utilizing the same RV technology, but this Golf Ball shaped model has evolved into the gazebo style that is more suitable for many other applications.
